Pelenduil The Great Destroyer had taken everything from Eira. He razed the land, slaughtered her mother and father, and left her sister, Suvi, hideously disfigured by burns.

After four years, Suvi succumbs to her cruel wounds. Tormented by grief, Eira vows revenge. She embarks on a quest to vanquish Pelenduil but in her journey stumbles into a lush forest, untouched by destruction, tended by the very warlock who unleashed Pelenduil upon the land.

Curiously, he spares her life while forbidding her from ever leaving the forest. Eira knows he guards the whereabouts of the dragon, and the answer lies somewhere in his domain. In her search, she finds that not only is there more to the warlock than meets expectation, but she is able to wield his magic, and this magic carries with it the ability to heal or destroy.

Could it be what she needs to exact vengeance and cure her anguish? Or would it betray her in the end?
