Escaping hostage in Mexico City, Rafael becomes tactically-trained to save another hostage-cum-(forbidden)love-interest from drug lord Sanchez whose final threat is a bomb.

In Mexico City, an actor, Rafael, is admitted to a hospital after being shot in the arm, and cared for by a nurse, Sofia.

Rafael is later held hostage by a menacing and revengeful drug lord, Sanchez, who drags Sofia along and places their lives on the line.

Struggling through the ordeal, Rafael and Sofia need to be extra careful when they discover she's pregnant, from the possible yet forbidden romance blossoming between them.

As authorities set out to save them, Sanchez poses obstacles and zero-option terms, in return for a clean record back to Sinaloa, with Sofia.

Though Rafael manages to return to the authorities and work together with the military, Sanchez now places more lives at stake, including Rafael's and Sofia's, in the hands of a bomb.
