Margaret and her friend Isabelle disappear after finding a cursed stone in the woods near their cottage. Ten years later, her brother Johan meets Natalia, who also lost her brother to the curse. They embark on a quest to find their siblings and lift the curse, following the clues in a diary left by the witch who hid the stone. Along the way, they face dangers from Prince Alister, a descendant of the witch who wants to use the curse for his own benefit. They also reunite with their other brother Hans and their father, who join them in their mission. They discover that the only way to break the curse is to return the stone to its original place in nature, where a magical dragon awaits to hatch and bring peace to the land.
