In the kingdom of Koitana, a civil war tears alchemists and mages apart. With a dictating king with all the power of alchemy in his hand, it's impossible for mages to be safe. Jadis is one such mage. Hidden in the confines of the kingdom, she lives her life undetected, unbothered, unharmed.

Until the civil war flushes all of the mages out of their homes.

Jadis unexpectedly finds herself in the palace, where she encounters the formidable ruler and his captivating son, Prince Raphael. There's something unusual about the prince that intrigues Jadis, especially as she tries to regain control of her tamed magic amidst the King's cruel efforts to eradicate all mages from his kingdom. It could be his caring nature towards her or the mysterious disappearance of his mother, Queen Danlyna, that he seems to himself know nothing of. Or maybe it's the undeniable sense of familiarity that she tries to resist. With tensions rising in the kingdom and civil war threatening to ravage the land, can Jadis break free from the King's oppressive grip and help others do the same - even if it means parting him from his own son?

In it's attack on the kingdom the dragon flew to the castle and was going to destroy it from pure hatred for the royal family, but then he saw the princess through her open window. The dragon fell for her beauty immediately, so he decided to kidnap her, it would also be the perfect revenge on the royal family. So the dragon took the princess to his place, the princess was of course not happy about that and she did freak out. She didn't wanted to live with a dragon! But then, the dragon reached it's house and he changed into a handsome young man! Even though its forbidden for them to be together, the princess slowly fell for the dragon and the dragon fell for her.. but how will this fairy tale end..? like every other, where the prince comes and slay the dragon and gets the girl, or will it be different this time?
