Mother Nature naturally creates the melting reaction from heat to ice, and the same applies to (Y/n) and Yoriichi. 
(Y/n)'s Snow family and his Sun family developed hatred towards each other, which soon made the two best friends separate apart and become competitive rivals in swordsmanship. Nothing else will occur when the two meet; there will only be sparring and combat. 

On the other hand, Michikatsu, the older brother of cocky Yorrichi, was the exact antithesis of Yoriichi-gentle, kind, and encouraging. Of course, it was natural (Y/n) to favor Michi over...that period hair guy.
But young Yoriichi soon discovered a feeling, known as jealousy.
