Circe is an ancient planet that suffered plague and war a three-quarters of a century ago. It's achieved recovery but its history has been lost, fragmented across the planet in ruins of technology and magic.

UNISED has made contact, bringing humans to Circe and opening up the first interspecies connection for Earth. However, as conflict begins again, recovering Circe's technology and history becomes more and more urgent as wider space looms closer, bringing with it the belief that humans and ardeans aren't alone nor have they ever been.
