After the events of season 3 Nezha's only job now was to serve and protect the Jade Emperor, a duty which he did not enjoy.  Through the months he began to see reason in the reason Azure Lion and his brothers took when they attacked heaven to overthrow the Jade Emeror thousands of years ago.

Once he had realised that Azure and his brothers were set free from the scroll, he went down to the mortal realm to aid in their ideals of overthrowing the Jade Emperor, with the full intent on betraying the Jade Emperor, and heaven itself.
