This story is inspired by the figleys ending where the narrator says he's going to leave the parable behind and live in the real world, but what happens to poor Stanley during the meantime when the game isn't properly shut off?
And how will he react when his "dear friend" returns after so long of being in silence?
It will be an angsty story, especially in the beginning but nothing heavy!

Stanley and The Narrator, a pair never made to last. Creator and creation. "Let's go back just once and give Stanley one more run of the office, Then I'll retire him for good." Stanley found himself desperately attempting to extend this last run of his as much as he could but ultimately couldn't escape from the end after all. The end of the parable and the end of his life chased him relentlessly. And he was going to run out of breath. He awoke one day to sand and sky and the sun gliding over him. ---------------------- This is not going to include any romance, (unless you look closely ig) BUT hear me out, this is an emotional rollercoaster through the path I'm pretty sure most players go through. Just told in a dramatic pre release au Stanley and Narrator thing. Where Stanley - a real person- had helped the narrator cover all corners of the game and create new endings. Alone in the Office
"Stanley, if you walk off that ledge one more time, if you kill yourself again, I will not take part in this anymore." There was a huff. "I tried to stop you but you somehow found a way around it. I refuse to try anymore." What did that mean? "Wouldn't take part"? Stanley was curious, he had to admit. And instead of asking, instead of communicating, he casted a glance at the ceiling and threw himself off the ledge for the forty-sixth time. There was a sickening thud and a large, shooting pain throughout his body before the world began to fade. "... Fine. Have it your way." Or, Stanley pushes the Narrator too far and finds himself all alone for four days. TWs will be on the first page.
