Kai slumped down into the chair; he looked around a bit before rolling his eyes, "I knew this academy would reek of bigotry."
"Sit up straight," the prince glared.
Kai laughed, bringing his face close to his, "Or what? You'll finally kill me? Like you said you would 4 years ago?" he smiled and leaned back.
The prince looked at him incredulously.
Recollecting himself, the prince glared, "I knew Infernius were immoral but you can't even show the tiniest bit of properity."
Kai scoffed, then grinned, "You say Infernius are immoral creatures yet you Melfernes indulge in feelings of superiority and never stop to think whether or not your actions are immoral: has it ever dawned on you that respect is earned?"
The prince was again taken aback and Kai used this opportunity to leave. He kicked the chair out and walked to exit. Before he left the room, he sneered, "This is why I hate Melfernes."
Then he slammed the door shut.

I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it.
