Nicole 'Dove' Bradshaw has wanted to be a pilot for as long as she could remember like her Uncles Iceman and Maverick. She spent the last part of High School trying to piece her life together after her mother died. Soon after her mothers funeral her Uncle Mav went MIA.
After graduating the naval academy Dove was stationed in Pearl Harbor for 3 years, She didn't hear from her older brother often. She then was sent to Top Gun where she graduated first in her class with Phoenix, who quickly became her best friend, slightly behind in second.
When Dove gets told she is being called back to Top Gun, will she be ready for the truth to come out about why her Uncle Pete cut all contact after her mothers funeral, or what Rooster and Mavericks fight that day was really about? Will She be ready to open up to love after her rocky past relationship? Will everyone she cares about make it back from this mission alive?

Pete "Maverick" Mitchell has lost a lot over the years: his best friend, his wife, and the sudden risk of losing his career. Their biggest trial was not the awkwardness between Maverick and Lieutenant Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, or trying to get the new trainees to behave like a team. It actually came from the tension caused by Lieutenant Jake "Hangman" Seresin. Lieutenant Jake "Hangman" Seresin has a reputation for being unstoppable. He's always been the top pilot, so when this new trainer dismissed him, he had to prove her wrong. That is, until he makes a mistake that would change his life and Maddlyn's life forever. It soon became clear that the very mistake Maddlyn warned him he'd make came a lot sooner than he was prepared for.
