Over the last few centuries, the god of love, Eros, has been overwhelmed with all the number of couples that have been lined up on the list that he's supposed to tie together at the right place and time. His time with his wife, Psyche, has diminished because of all this work. With a lot of self-debating, the god of love has finally come to a decision to open apprenticeships to young men of his choice. With all the promising benefits listed, it took no later than a blink of an eye for these young men to flock to his chosen rendezvous. Of course, with Eros' charisma, even the same sex couldn't say no. Kairo is one of them. A young man in his late-twenties who Eros found to have a deceased soulmate before he could even fire love arrows to them. Clearly, Kairo is one of the victims of this god's failure to do what he mainly existed for. He has been one of Eros's best Matchmakers. He's able to meet deadlines, and the bonds he's helped build even without the use of Eros' Arrows are some of the strongest. In Kairo's first century of being an apprentice, something unanticipated will make him stumble and fall. A Matchmaker who will fall as an apprentice, and fall for someone in the depths of love.

Eris, the Goddess of Chaos and Discord, had always spent her days causing mischief and discord on mortals. It was not until one day that Eros (Cupid), the God of Love, argued that love was a far more superior activity to be part of. Thinking that love was trivial and mere sexual desires, Eris made a wager with Eros that she could create and inspire love with a mortal boy that had caught her attention. Enter Henry Leon, an aspiring concert pianist by day and jazz musician by night. Having found no courage to speak to the girl from his university, he sought help from a flapper turned matchmaker (Eris). In this tale set in Gatsby's era, Greek gods and mortal lives are intertwined as the question of "love" is put to the test.
