Viviette Swan is terribly devastated when her mother is killed by death eaters in the year 1995 - so devastated, in fact, that she vows to find a way to bring her back. She manages to steal a time turner from the Ministry and decides to improvise it in order to be able to go back in time and stop Tom Riddle from becoming the darkest wizard of all time. At last, in the year 1997, she finally manages to do so.

When she finally goes back in time, however, she realizes that her decisions have consequences - grave consequences.
