The Wind
A collection of poems, short stories and writings. Well, essentially just poems at the moment. Variety of influences I will always be willing to disclose for specific poems. Some are darker than others (see tags for possible triggers). Please comment any thoughts. Well it seems I have poured more of myself into this book of poems than I've really expressed to any one person irl. But the masochist inside me really wants you all to read it because why not share my head with strangers? But maybe this matters. Maybe this shows something- some progression becuase some of the earliest poems are are about, or reference, self harm and I'm glad to say that's behind me. I can follow a lot of my relationship with existentialism throughout it, as well as simply my attitude towards poetry (quatrains of iambic tetrameter with abab rhyme schemes are still cool but they aren't my go-to.) So yeah, maybe writing poetry in a toilet when I'm trying to calm down from a panic attack, or better yet in the midst of having one, and putting it up on some anonymous platform means something. Because I'm still not what else does.

I am broken And now that you see, what you've allowed to happen to me The evils you have forced into my existence Self-serving evils now defying you with such persistence You try to cover up your lies Dangling hope in front of my eyes ~~~ I write to inspire others and to find a piece of myself that was lost or I never knew I had. Like every military staff, who was coming back home, he was still excited to see his fiancèe, despite him losing his job forever. It did not turn out the way he hoped it would be and caught her cheating with his best friend. That's when he started to lose all his hope in life and plot his own death. When life does not work his way he starts blaming God for it. Fortunately, he survived a car accident and was saved by a business woman named 𝘈𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘦. She helps him become a better version of himself and grow more into Christ, making him find the right path in his life again. Everything Hurts
I knew what was coming later tonight, not only at home, but on the way there. I knew that reacting right now would just make it worse though. So I kept quiet and pretended that I was not dreading when I would be alone with the man that stood beside me, wondering when it became so normal to do so. Jason and Alicia have the perfect relationship from the outside looking in, but Alicia has kept her wounded spirit and body hidden well. After another one of Jason's violent rages that is impossible to hide, Alicia is finally able to get away from the abuse though. In the process of healing, she begins to relearn what trust, compassion, and safety are once again - that is, until Jason discovers her whereabouts.
