when hunting a monster in the darkness of the night an unlikely friend comes to his aid in the nick of time saving his life. A Stunning fluffy black cat of all things making Geralt regret his entire existence. Since now he owes his life to a cat he takes the cat with him to the in where it meets Jaskier. the cat doesn't take to kindly to Jaskier at first but slowly except him after a treat. Geralt knows something is up with the cat when but can't really put his finger on it until he wakes up to find the cat isn't a cat anymore but something else far more bizarre.

After spending one fateful night together, Geralt and Jaskier part ways. But eight weeks later, Geralt calls Jaskier out of the blue with some life-changing news.
