It was summer; I was dating my best friend of 12 years. In the midst of it all she was pregnant. Also not a good parent. The role; was than mine. Age 17. Fast forward; 2 years had passed I had fallen out of love with my best friend. She left me no other choice then to leave. I swore to her that no matter what that child need be in my life. She agreed. Rewind; I met the most beautiful girl. During my time of 'leaving my ex'. I got caught off guard and totally swept away by this woman. She completely had/has me answering her every question. I fell in love with her as quickly as you fall into the seat of a car. It wasn't something I was anticipating. She captured my soul so miraculously, like a thief in the night. Our love, grew to be extraordinary. For months we had been talking, I still hadn't had the nerve to kiss her; ridiculously soft lips. One night; standing on the side of her car, she asked, "why won't you kiss me"?. In that moment I froze up.

He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I um," Every word I had learned from pre-school to now had just flew out of my mind and left me speechless. "I should go." I could tell he could barely hear the hurtful words I had just chocked out of my mouth, but I didn't care. Not anymore. I walked away. Fighting back tears. I drove all the way to my house and when I got there I fell against the cold wall. What had just happened? All I knew is that I wasn't able to think straight. My mind was clouded with memories of him. I shook my head trying to forget everything that was involved with him. But I wasn't able to forget. These thoughts were a part of me now. He was a part of me.
