Sayuri can't remember her life before eight years old, right around the time she started living in Konohagakure. She was told she had come from the Village hidden in the Sand after her twin sister Tsubaki had apparently died in a terrible accident.
After Sayuri graduated as a genin, she was assigned to squad seven, what she thinks may be the worst team in the history of Konohagakure. Aside from Naruto’s and Sauske’s rivalry, things were actually starting to look up, but when demons from Sayuri’s past started surfacing, it causes some pretty devastating complications, especially with the distant, but familiar sand ninja, Gaara.
