Mana is a rather peculiar concept, you could either be born with or without it. Of all the ranks that exist, S and F ranks are the exceptions, anomalies that defy the normal code. Both are incredibly rare to occur, but surely you'd rather have unlimited power than barely a drop at all. Unfortunately for a certain mage, this is just the case, born with a drop of a mana, he had accepted his life of hardship and had no thoughts of attending Riverford Academy. But through a series of unexpected encounters, he was forced to accept. Though it wasn't too bad, since he had his familiars accompanying him, and odd friends along the way.

Welcome to Riverford Academy, where common sense is thrown out the window and magic awaits!

Ascending Light

23 parts Complete

Crysen hails from a powerful and noble lineage of light fairies and is expected to uphold his mother's legacy. However, he has yet to awaken his power and continues to wait for his time to come. When it finally does, there is no escape from destiny and he must learn to use his power or watch as the entire realm is destroyed. With the help of his newly discovered friends, he must overcome the threat to the realm and learn to use his powers. At least, he is not alone but will having them there help or hinder him? 2021 Note: This is the original version of the story which is now being rewritten into a novel worthy of Crysen. I have long debated on what to do about this book and have finally decided to start over and create something even better, for Crysen and for myself. However, I will not take this down because I see it as a vital piece of my history, as well as Crysen's. Thank you.
