What caused him not to strike was the kanji symbols in their eyes. Uppermoon 0, a myth, a legend, supposedly not true? But here they where, young enough to be around twelve and thirteen. Yet when they noticed they demon slayer. They didn't attack. Nor showed any fear. They did nothing but invite him to sit down with them.

But of course, people are lost. That's apart of life. And you will be there to support your younger siblings if they are in need of your help. That's your job, after all. To help your siblings no matter the cost -even if it costs you your life. Without your parents there, you had to care for them and protect them.
