I watch him, for what seems like the thousandth time since I first saw him- since I first decided to start this game- pull the note that I taped on his window, smirking.

Is what it says. And I watch eyebrows furrow and his mouth fall open slightly, as he looks around outside his window like he did when he found my first note.
