Pretty girl attends the quaint college of Oakwood, and everyone knows who she is. Although, they don't know her name, or all that much about her. She's just seen as pretty. A rumor begins to brew within the college that a guy is going to ask her out. It's none other than Keil Barker, the most desired guy on campus.
And so, they begin to date; for her out of social pressure, and for him out of pure obsession. Though not long after she soon experiences a plethora of problems stemming from dating Keil; jealous friends, entitled men, nothing unusual.
However, through a series of events it unravels into something much more disturbing, forcing her to evaluate her worth, and question what is it she truly wants?

Beck is top of her class when it comes to Maths and Science and her future seems bright. However, she struggles with social anxiety and relationships. Beck is autistic and spends most of her life locked away in her own mind as she reads her collection of books to escape her abusive alcoholic father. But once her eyes meet a grey eyed boy from across the room her world won't be the same. (18+ violence, adult themes, bullying, harassment and other issues) Being Autistic myself I have put a lot of me in this book. I've exaggerated certain aspects for entertainment values but other than that this is how awkward I feel most of the time. I don't see many books by women who write about their experiences in a creative way to spread awareness in a fun and compassionate way. This is mine I guess.
