Bailie Daniels, a girl who is just trying to make money before she goes off to college, is working in an older convenience store. Not many customers come to visit but one specific day, a man comes in and asks for rhubard. Acting upon this strange request, Bailie goes and looks for some in the creepy old basement. On the way back up, she trips on something that had fallen down and hits her head. When she wakes up, she's alone and somewhere she definitely knows is not where she was before. She later learns that she made it into the backrooms, from one of the boys she meets. The endless labyrinth of rooms and hallways that no one has ever escaped before. Will she be the first one? Jenna, a young filmmaker, arrives at an abandoned warehouse to scout a location for her project, feeling a growing sense of unease. After a quick call with her co-worker, she begins to explore the eerie, empty space. As Jenna ventures deeper, her discomfort only increases, but she presses on, determined to capture the perfect shot. Just as she's setting up her equipment, the floor beneath her shifts and gives way, drawing her into a strange, shadowy place. She finds herself in an endless maze of yellow walls and flickering lights, with no clear way out. Back in the warehouse, her phone rings unanswered, her co-worker's name flashing in the empty room.
