April Wood-Walker never imagined she'd end up in a situation like this. Living in the countryside, with two children and her alcoholic husband, she spent her days cleaning, cooking, tending to her husband's garden, and raising two children. There were no issues when she first married Edgar, her high school sweetheart. After the death of his mother, however, things took a turn for the worse. She loves him, and is conflicted on whether she should stay or leave. Two small children aren't easy to cross the country with alone, but she can't get through to her husband to help him through his sadness. TW: alcohol, rape/SA, abuse

[Warning: Sexual Content] "I wondered if there would ever be a point when we didn't hesitate, or when my heart didn't pound so hard against my ribs when he undressed me. As much as I wanted it to feel more natural, I didn't want to lose how lightheaded and giddy it made me feel." ~ After a severe and somber encounter with his mother, Albion Bryson's life seems to be turned upside down. A serious head injury causes his father to turn for help to Doctor Grace Reynolds. Hearing about Albion's condition and change of attitude, Grace convinces her oldest daughter, Dawn Reynolds, to help and socialize with him after hearing they shared classes at school. Dawn, later, becomes a significant person in his life. As time passes, the two become inseparable as Albion continues with his life despite the way he thinks of himself.
