The Eighth Kingdom

Immense beasts lurk beneath volcanic hot springs around the world. Nightmare eating creatures wait on the outer reaches of cities. Enormous birds capable of manipulating the natural weather conditions roam the open skies. In an alternative timeline of the modern world, where the creatures of myth and legend were scientific fact, evolving alongside the plants and animals of today.
The Mythical Oddity Society, or MOS seeks to research, discover, and protect these unique organisms. In the wilds and even urban areas of our planet, these creatures live out their lives as any other animal would but there are some out there who would consider them a threat and seek to exploit them.
Darwin and Walter Moth, sons of the original founder Dr. Chester Moth have completed all training at headquarters that can be done in a book and now are in the field following in their father's footsteps. When a plot unfolds of another more sinister organization is discovered it is up to the Darwin and Walter along with friends they meet along the way, to stop these people before they awaken something terrible.
Not all creatures can be so easily tamed.
