Romance
The story of Medusa is a well-known Greek myth that has been retold countless times, but this new twist on the story adds new elements of romance, war, comedy, and sexy. Medusa is still cursed with venomous snakes for hair and the ability to turn anyone who looks directly into her eyes to stone. But this time around, her story is set in a world plagued by war and turmoil, where every kingdom is vying for power and control. Medusa, for her part, is not interested in power or control. She is content living a solitary existence, shunning the outside world and staying hidden away in her lair. Until one day, a young soldier from one of the warring kingdoms stumbles upon her lair while seeking refuge from a battle. At first, Medusa is outraged that someone has dared to enter her lair without her permission, but she becomes intrigued by the wounded soldier and decides to nurse him back to health. As they spend more time together, they develop a deep connection, and before long, they fall in love. Against all odds, their love survives and grows even stronger, despite the chaos and war raging around them. But their happiness is short-lived when the soldier's kingdom discovers their love and sends an army to attack Medusa's lair. In the midst of the ensuing battle, Medusa fights to protect her love and the life they have built together. She discovers that her power to turn people to stone can be used to their advantage, and she turns the tide of the battle in their favor. Despite the war and the chaos, the story is laced with moments of humor and scenes between Medusa and her soldier. The story ultimately ends on a bittersweet note, as they must part ways once the war is over, knowing that they may never see each other again. This new twist on Medusa adds elements of romance, war, humor, and sexy to the story, while still maintaining the original elements of Greek mythology that have made the story a classic.

[EDITED EDITION] Hera could no longer hear the clicking of her heels as she walked towards the Magic Fountain, the fountain that would protect her from possession of a Conjured. The floor here was still stone like in the hallway, yet it was dead quiet. Her shoes just made no noise. She was so close she could make out the individual strands of magic in the water of the Fountain when she heard the scream. It was shrill and blood-curdling, filled with so much fear it made Hera want to scream herself. Which she did, when she looked up. It was a Conjured. Looking directly at her. ~~~~~ Hera Giala loves books. She kind of sees herself as a background character, necessary to the plot but not really anything special. Yet no amount of reading could have prepared her for what was to come. A war has been waging for centuries. The war between Giala and Conjured - evil, decaying, humanlike creatures with burning blue eyes and a hatred for royals. Royals like Hera, princess of Giala. And now, as the new queen, it's Hera's job to kill them, and not loose herself or the bright colours of her world in the battle for peace.
