What could one call this? A story of a yakuza family successor turned office worker? An unfortunate soul crossing paths with six identical individuals who bring chaos into their daily life, while at the same time breaking them out of their mundane day-to-day routine? Perhaps it is both.

An office lady named Kobayashi Aki finds herself involved with her neighbours. The sextuplets: Osomatsu, the self-proclaimed leader with a penchant for trouble; Karamatsu, the wannabe cool guy brother; Choromatsu, the nerdy and socially awkward idol stan; Ichimatsu, the brooding and mysterious individual; Jyushimatsu, the hyperactive and eccentric fella; and Todomatsu, the charming and cunning manipulator.

Who knew they had a cutie living across the street from them for so long? And yet their paths never crossed before now.
