Beth is an FBI Agent and Chris is a serial criminal. They are high school sweethearts, but broke up after graduation because they wanted different things.

She wanted to be in law enforcement and he wanted to pursue his path of what he believed was being a criminal. He's even been to prison a couple of times for his crimes.

Both of them grew up with horrible childhoods. One doesn't want to see anyone go through that, so she's devoted her life to helping people and the world in general. The other doesn't see the point in anything and wants everyone to feel how miserable he is.

The FBI have been called to aid in the investigation of the person they call 'Mr Smiley'. A range of his crime's include murder, sexual assault and arson. The police are able to tell it is the same person by a distinct smiley face he leaves, carved into the crime scene.Alle Rechte vorbehalten
