Invincible: Dawn Of SuperBoy (Mary Grayson x Male Reader) Book #2
Let us take a recap of how it all started and how it ended off: Mary Grayson, 18 year old High School student, yet also to be a hero as she gained her superpowers from her father, who also happens to be a hero too, and is known as Omni-Man. With Mary now having superpowers and is known as her hero name "Invincible", she goes out and joins up a group of heroes of her own alongside with some classmates from her school: Samantha Eve Wilkins, AKA, Atom Eve, and (YN) Kent, AKA, SuperBoy. (YN) is the son of the greatest hero known is planet: SuperMan(Clark Kent). With that being said...a lot of things happen. Omni-Man use to join forces with a group of heroes known as "The Guardians Of The Globe", only to turn out he betrayed them and murder every each member. And not only that, he also murdered SuperMan before as well. To think he can get away with it without anyone knowing, only for Cecil, the director of the Global Defense Agency, to find out the murderer of both Guardians and SuperMan, and also Mary, her mother Debbie, and (YN), and the rest of the world too. The reason why Omni-Man did it all, was cause of an order, to conquer the planet earth and have his race to take over, the Viltrumites. Mary couldn't believe her own father lied to her and his mom this whole time, and yet say awful things towards them. Mary had no choice but to fight her own father to not let him do more trouble, only to end up badly for her, being beaten up almost near to death by her own father, yet she manage to overcome him with her words, which made him feel something inside, and yet to flee away...but SuperBoy wouldn't let him leave without paying any consequences for murdering the guardians, Debbie, Mary, and killing his father. Both Omni-Man and SuperBoy duke it out against each other in the city, beating each other to a bloody pulp, and at the very end...(YN) gain victorious, and telling Omni-Man...to leave, and never come back to earth, ever again. NEW COVER - SAME STORY A superman story like no other, far from any canon in existence, Kal-El made his way to Earth as an infant, not to be discovered by the Kents, but by the Luthors! (for all my true DC geeks, think Ultraman's story expanded) Moving to the inner city of Metropolis during middle school, Clark and Lex quickly filled their roles as the cocky, @sshole jock and even bigger @sshole genius respectively. Their rise to popularity was almost instantaneous with the Luthor name and bank account behind them. Clark Luthor is a complicated creature. Sure, he's incredibly powerful, but he always found himself at odds with his ingenious brother Lex, competing for their father Lionel's approval and attention. Rather than hiding behind nerdy glasses (don't come for me, y'all, I love nerdy Clark Kent), Clark Luthor's upbringing turned him into something much darker and more dangerous. But this story isn't really about him, it's about the shy and quirky girl who seems impervious to death or permanent injury who unfortunately gains his attention. Before Krypton's destruction, a Viltrumite was sent in an attempt to save the planet due to its great possibilities for the Viltrumite Empire. The Viltrumite eventually had a child who was blessed with the DNA of both a Kryptonian and Viltrumite, however he was stolen from the planet moments before the planet was destroyed and employed into the academy to fight for Viltrum. Finally after years of training, he is sent to the planet Earth to assist Omni-Man in the planets conquering.
A Future Sooner than Tomorrow
The Justice League somehow winds up several years in the future... Or maybe it's an alternate universe? After all, there seems to be an extra kryptonian protector of this time's Metropolis, one that goes by "Superboy". Alternatively: Clark is ecstatic to see another kryptonian, even if it's one from a (maybe?) alternate universe, but... his fellow kryptonian doesn't appear to share the same feeling of immediate kinship. Luckily enough, Superman wasn't known for giving up!
