Constantly coming second sucks. But at least you're not dead.
Carson is fed up of coming second. The wolf pack that was meant to be his is under the control of his brother-in-law, who continues to undermine him at every turn. Now, the vampires are breaking the laws that have been in place for a hundred years.
A chance encounter with a curious vampire inspires Carson to hatch a plan that will put him-and the pack-back on top. But if it works, it could change more than the tenuous pact between the wolves and the vampires. It could destroy everything Carson holds dear.
Carson is about to learn that being first in life can also mean being first to die. As his plan spins out of control, his goal to destroy the vampires might also turn the werewolves from hunter to hunted.

At least that's his plan, but since when do things go according to plan? Explicit content. Don't read if you are a minor. M-rated. Shoutout to @sp-ri-ng for the amazing cover! I love it :D - WARNINGS I've received some feedback that the relationship portrayed is abusive; just as a trigger warning. There is no (with a single exception) pain for the sake of harming anyone. I'd say it is more on the forceful side, especially with the vampire-setting, and the vampire may act questionable and egocentric. Also, depression and I'd say a suicidal tendency do come up (briefly) because of these thoughtless interactions. And, uh, "Stockholm Syndrome" was mentioned, but also in the context of an overall enjoyable read. - Finished story. There are two sequels. The first is called "Blood Sucker" and about their life after the epilogue, and the second one's called "My Blood Donor". It tells the story from Dael's POV (not finished). XOXO T.Complete
