Severus and Remus tolerate each other for 0Lily's sake but When they head off to Hogwarts Remus becomes friends 0th James, Sirius and Peter and Lily thinks they are - but especially James - are assholes. To be honest they were a little rude to Severus front the beginning... One day Lily and Remus have a (joke) conversation that they should date the richest people in Howarts when Remus is coming out to her  as they both came from families that earned low income, something Snape didn't understand. In their years 4-5 they actually do start dating the richest people in Hogwarts and their partners spoil them rotten, because why not.
