Severus and Remus tolerate each other for Lily's sake but When they head off to Hogwarts Remus becomes friends with James, Sirius and Peter and Lily thinks they are - but especially James - are assholes. To be honest they were a little rude to Severus front the beginning... One day Lily and Remus have a (joke) conversation that they should date the richest people in Howarts when Remus is coming out to her  as they both came from families that earned low income, something Snape didn't understand. In their years 4-5 they actually do start dating the richest people in Hogwarts and their partners spoil them rotten, because why not.

Updated every Sunday Content warning tags are used in each chapter. (Don't really need to read the others before this I think) I also want to make it clear I do not agree with Rowling's views. This is a very pro-LGBT+ series, there will be a lot of queer characters once they're older (though we do start getting that in this book!). That being said, the general wizarding society in this is very anti-LGBT+. I will keep the hate to a minimum, but it will be a story where the characters are afraid to/cannot come out publicly.
