A group of scientists used children to make experiments and test if they could give them special abilities. But when their plans went sideways and a certain group attacked their laboratory, everything started to fall apart. That's when these teenagers, Kino, Aisla, and more, started their lives. When Kino got to his dad's house, he discovered something that his father had been hiding for a long time. Together, with the other children who were the medium of the experiments before, they will solve the problem and mystery that happened in the laboratory years ago. Who are those people who attacked the scientists, and why did their parents die? Is it really an accident or something mysterious that is still waiting to be dug?

Robin Greyson's personal essay exposes a secret government plot with corporate and magical ties. This retelling of his own past takes place during his childhood, when he is abducted and taken to Soma, a tropical island shrouded in mystery. To the rest of Vafrian society, Soma is a big, open secret. Everyone is aware that the government controls every aspect of the island. Not many are allowed to go in or come out. Nobody questions it; that's just how things have been for the past century. No civilians know about the eldritch disasters taking place on Soma, or what creatures might be lurking all over it. All Robin and his friend Marina know, however, is that they will both meet their parents for the first time on Soma. Their shared wish comes true, but it doesn't last. The kids are separated from their parents during a cataclysmic storm. Robin and Marina wake up surrounded by strangers in a building just underneath the island's surface. Among them are three other kids and one adult. They are forced to participate in a series of anticlimactic puzzle games, of which there can only be one winner. They make a deal with the oldest player, Chuck, who promises to make contact with a friend from the surface once he escapes. If Chuck doesn't keep his word, Robin, Marina, and their new allies will be sent to Purgatory---a labyrinth teeming with zombie-like creatures. *** a/n: this is book 1 of the Tomorrow's Message series. 1. (Book Two of Experiment Number 7218. Do not read this summary or book if you have not read Book One) I listen closely through the static on the radio, trying to hear the emergency broadcasting message. An electronic voice repeated over and over, "This message is transmitted to you through the North Carolina Police Department. It is advised to stay indoors and to remain inside if at all possible. Have enough food for one to two weeks. Do not come in contact with anyone outside of your household. This message is transmitted to you through the North Carolina Police Department." I scoff to myself. I know this will not be over in a mere two weeks. - - - - - Terminar; The Latin word for Terminate. Definition: To bring to an end. Brittany Slater was free. She had finally escaped the island that she now calls Hell. But there were so many loose ends. Why had her father destroyed all of his research? His factory? His life's work? Why had he given her a chance to live? Well, she got her answer. Upon arriving to North Carolina, she was thrown right back into Hell on Earth. Grounders, Savages, what were once innocent people, they now all roam free. Her father told her the Experiment was over, and he was right. It was time for the Project to begin. To take effect. And no one could stop him. He'd turned the world into a pyramid, and he put himself and his own government on top. He'd activated Project Terminar.
