Detective Alexander Gray has a reputation for solving cold cases, so when he receives a strange letter from a city in California, Gray does not hesitate to leave for the city, hellbent on confronting a killer who's playing games through a letter. Once there, Detective Gray learns about a trail of clues that points to a large-scale serial criminal still on the loose, evading the police and enjoying infamy. The only known clue Gray has is their name, Isaiah. The deeper Gray investigates each killing link, the further away from the truth he seems to get, until the case takes an unexpected turn and Alex is forced to turn to a criminal informant for aid, exchanging favors for slivers that might help him crack this case before more killings take place. Jackson lives in a small town of Montrose his whole life. After several bodies are found in the area, the police come to a conclusion that a serial killer is on the loose. The investigation has drawn the attention of the FBI, and their team soon puts together a criminal profile. Finally, they know the type of person they are looking for. One that keeps to themselves, is rarely seen in the company of others and does not seek out social interaction. The loner type. This is bad news for Jackson. There is a reason that he fits the description - killing is his hobby and he's good at it. He's managed to stay under the radar so far, but now he has to find a way to escape their notice. At the advice of his brother, Jackson decides the quickest way to change is to stop being such a loner. He needs a roommate. ASAP. It is the perfect cover to hide from the police. Except, his new roommate comes with a baggage of her own, and Jackson soon finds that he isn't the only one the FBI has to worry about. ---------- The beautiful cover was made by the team from @SahikaD profile
