What connects them? Oh just the fact that they're the same person. Ari White is nothing like Izuku Yagi. But they are one in the same.
Izuku looked forward to the future. Would he become a strong hero? He didn't know running away from home would be the best decision he ever made.
Ari hated the past. He was weak, useless, a fucking burden. He had killed Izuku to become Ari, so why does the past still haunt him?
It all comes to a pass when his new reality and old reality start crashing together. God, he hated everything. Especially that damn perceptive rat. Or chimera or whatever he was.

All because of the misfortune brought upon him from being born a demigod with the fate of the world in his hands. As such he envied everyone with a better life them him.
