This is the beginning of a series called ENGINES: Old Tales of The Orchid Railway. Based off and inspired by TUGS and Thomas The Tank Engine. Focusing on a railway owned a sister and a brother and split the railway in half. they both also have their own two rival fleets called The Bright Fleet and The Lightning Fleet. The series will take place from the 1955 to 1981. Let's see what many tales this little railway has.

Today is a special days for the engines of the bright fleet as both a new engine is arriving and a special visitor is arriving too. Julian is tasked by Captain Emily to show the newcomer around, but while this is going on, the lightning fleet is up to their old tricks again as they are trying to beat out the bright fleet. Let's see what happens.
