"I lied to protect you, Hope. If you knew the truth, it would kill you."

Saying 'everything she knew was a lie', is an understatement. Hope Fuller finds out the parents she thought had died years ago, has actually been alive this whole time. So, she naturally wants to meet them. However, once she starts to seek them out, secrets start to unravel. That's when she learns not everything is as it seems.

She no longer knows who she can trust - including Dylan Nash. He may say he wants to help her discover the truth, but it's hard to believe him when he has secrets of his own. All she knows is there's no going back now that the door is opened - a door that probably should have remained shut. Forever.
