Zolan is a planet full of Zolanos, they're a type of alien. They look like humans and could pass for one if it wasn't for their height and not human like instincts. And then there's Nevaeh, an actual human. Nevaeh has always lived on Zolan, she's a servant for a camp. You see there's a civil war going on, people are rebelling against the King and Queen. War is the General, the best Zolan has ever had. War has always had a crush on Nevaeh, who is his mate. Mates are important to Zolanos, they help them control their tempers and aggression.

Half-Breed
Being different biracial was hard enough in this time and age. Try being a half-breed. Ya, that's right. I said it. Half breed. Half human and half alien. I won't go into how I was made, but I can say that I wasn't able to fit in either world. Sure, I had lived in a place counted as home, but I didn't belong. I wasn't like them. I was their weapon, something that could protect the world from the alien race that tried to destroy them. Would I choose to live with the people that I had grown up with and be a weapon? Or would I choose to be the prisoner because of what my parents did? I mean, I didn't ask to be born, but I was made. And, I chose to protect the world that was trying to be taken over. Just for the kids, though.
