A field trip in Gotham, and THE LADYBUG MIRACULOUS IS LOST!!! Luckily, she takes up the offer of the student exchange program hoping to buy herself enough time in a foreign place to finally get her precious earrings, and oh god, tikki.
While in the new prestigious school, Gotham academy (which is a little too gloomy for her taste) she finds a suspicious, snarky but angsty boy and his rainbow and sunshine best friend with deep underlying anger issues who might know something about the missing miraculous.

Ladybug Moves to Gotham (Daminette)
Ladybug and Chat Noir captures Hawkmoth and brings him to the police, in the process they find out his identity. Something in Chat Noir breaks and he goes crazy. Marinette watches as Chat Noir murders her parents and proceeds to de-transform in front of her and confesses his love. Marinette having enough of her class bullying her and taking care of Paris makes a run for it after taking the miraculous box from its hiding place. Kaalki teleports her somewhere and three people find her and take her in. A while later a boy by the name Damian takes an interest in the Parisian girl. Marinette is the Star of the Order of the Miraculous, the still-in-training head, as well as the True Ladybug leading the Court of Miracles. After years at Hawkmoth's mercy, Marinette has decided that enough is enough and is reaching out to Batman, the detective of detectives to help her track down the villian's true identity. What better way to do this than a field trip to Gotham? Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby). A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, and comeuppance -- and marriage?! ___ Basically my attempt at a soulmate AU, full of just about every Damianette cliche and trope I can think of. Marinette and Damian grew up in the league together, him the heir to the demon and her his beloved. However, there will be rules and twists to this project that the students must try to solve. Though, those aren't the only challenges these students will face. That being said there are a few disclaimers you might want to know before knowing what's going on. Originally the characters from Miraculous LB are around 13 to 15, in this story, they're 16, and Luka is 17. Also, all the events that have happened are up until Miracle Queen and this story takes place a few years later up until Marinette is sixteen. I am aware that Master Fu lost his in this "last" episode however from a storytelling perspective I've decided that he, Master Fu, didn't lose his memory.
