A field trip in Gotham, and THE LADYBUG MIRACULOUS IS LOST!!! Luckily, she takes up the offer of the student exchange program hoping to buy herself enough time in a foreign place to finally get her precious earrings, and oh god, tikki.
While in the new prestigious school, Gotham academy (which is a little too gloomy for her taste) she finds a suspicious, snarky but angsty boy and his rainbow and sunshine best friend with deep underlying anger issues who might know something about the missing miraculous.

Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, and comeuppance -- and marriage?! ___ Basically my attempt at a soulmate AU, full of just about every Damianette cliche and trope I can think of. Ladybug and Chat Noir captures Hawkmoth and brings him to the police, in the process they find out his identity. Something in Chat Noir breaks and he goes crazy. Marinette watches as Chat Noir murders her parents and proceeds to de-transform in front of her and confesses his love. Marinette having enough of her class bullying her and taking care of Paris makes a run for it after taking the miraculous box from its hiding place.
