Enduring Affection

Latielle has been a top-performing student since elementary school, consistently included in the honor lists, and she earned the title "Valedictorian" when she was in grade 6. Latielle transferred when she was in 9th grade. Unexpectedly, she met someone whom she greatly admired and liked- Leoji. Latielle's admiration for Leoji intensified as time went on. One day, as Latielle sat under the shade of a tree, her friend, Faye, couldn't contain her excitement any longer. She whispered that Leoji had chosen the same academic strand as hers. Latielle's heart skipped a beat. Leoji, with a knowing smile was well aware of Latielle's capabilities. he recognized Latielle as a worthy rival, someone who can match his stride for stride. And to make things more interesting, Leoji challenged Latielle to a fierce competition for the coveted title of "Valedictorian". Latielle knew that Leoji was not just an ordinary rival, but a formidable one but then, still accepted the challenge.
