But as darkness enveloped her consciousness, a voice, ancient and foreign, whispered promises of revenge and power. An unknown god, spurned and forgotten by the Marani pantheon, reached out and pulled her from death's embrace. Her eyes opened, now glowing with an otherworldly light, and a malevolent force surged within her. Reanimated and fueled by the anger of the forsaken deity, Ix Chel became an instrument of vengeance.
