In a world where books are priceless, scientists have discovered DNA in the books. From when a book if first published they began to grow their DNA. Only when a book is at its limits, torn pages run down by fingers and wonder filled eyes, is when they are able to take the DNA and grow the book into a human. Vita is a young book who is born from a series called The Hunger Games, she is brought into a world where they believe that books rule over the humans. The books, known as the Codexians, have a council of the first books that were made human. The council was meant to be good, to keep the Codexians together and on the right path, but the council had fallen on the wrong path. They now lead with terror and fear, any signs of rebellion are removed before anyone notices. Vita was born different from the other Codexians, born truly from Mother Nature and not from science. Mother Nature believes that her beloved books and her beloved humans must look to see each other as equals and sends Vita in to destroy the council and start a revolution. -Equinox

I want to be more than what they say I am. "We were told that in the early days of implementing the Motherhood project there were protests. ... but when I look at my own mother, I can't help but feel that some of them were relieved. They just handed over their kid, like a pair of car keys, and told the State to make sure it didn't get scratched." In seventeen year old Cameron Bree's world, parents are not allowed to raise their children for fear they'll do it wrong. To further ensure these children grow up to be model citizens, the State conducts regular personality tests to determine if they are innately good or innately evil. But what does it mean when you can cheat the test?
