𝐉𝐉 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐊 was the living, breathing stereotype of a Pogue. With no expectations on his shoulders, he lived and breathed danger. Adventure was a daily activity, and there was one thing he hated. Kooks.

𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐑 𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒 was a Kook. Fancy dresses, country clubs, and never lacking an invitation. Pressure was a constant, expectations crushing her shoulders and her teenage years. She committed herself to getting out of the bubble wrap and gaining the adventure she'd always craved. In doing so, she stole the hearts of the Pogues who would trust her with their lives.

That was until she abandoned them. Big John Routledge vanished, and with him Blair Ivers' relationship with the Pogues. She was gone, she'd left them.

After mourning a missing father figure and an abandonment from his best friend, JJ Maybank's trust issues were at an all time high. But now, Blair was back.

JJ made it his goal to avoid her at all costs. But with a gold chase and connections to the girl that he could never put a finger on, they were forced together.

As much as JJ wanted to hate her... he started to realize that he never could.
