Three years I have been without Aunt Helen, and it still feels like a fresh, open wound. Matt and his dad, John, have done their best to be there for me, even taking me into their home after my aunt disappeared, but something is missing.
The simple life in our small town is not that bad, even the place of some people's dreams; small town vibe in a natural wonderland. I make enough between waitressing and guiding in the fall to live comfortably, but lately, I feel restless, desiring more in my life. For as long as I can remember, I have always pictured a life full of travel and adrenaline inducing experiences.
The summons to Victoria regarding Aunt Helen's will opens a can of worms that I might not be ready for. I have to trust these Nemelatro because they might be able to guide me to find out what happened to my aunt and discover what I am truly capable of. Hopefully, they will even be able to train me to survive the consequences of my family's secrets and past.
