The land of Mordor is a dark and desperate one, ruled by Sauron, the vicious Dark Lord intent on dominating the rest of the land. Yet in the heart of his land rebellion stirs, led by the Bright Lord, an entity composed of two beings: Talion, the human Ranger from the kingdom of Gondor and Celebrimbor, an elven wraith who has existed for over four thousand years and now shares Talion's body. They share a simple ambition, which is to overthrow Sauron and thus gain vengeance for the slaughter of both Talion's and Celebrimbor's family, as well as perhaps saving the rest of Middle Earth from the tyrannical plans of the Dark Lord.

To overthrow such a powerful being, they need an army, made up of the very denizens Sauron rules. Loyalty and strength will be key to the Bright Lord's goal, but loyalty is scarce in a land where power is the ultimate dream of every inhabitant. It is up to Talion and Celebrimbor to find out the secret to inspiring their followers instead of being finished off by them.

In a world ruled by dark magic and ancient bloodlines, Zarek and Seraphine are the living embodiments of two opposing forces: one born of shadow, the other of light. Stolen from their mother at birth and raised under the tyrannical guidance of Vaeron and Kallista, they have become powerful weapons, groomed to fulfil the dark ambitions of their captors. But as they grow into their powers, they begin to question the future laid out before them. Zarek, with his brooding darkness and mastery over shadow magic, has always followed the path of destruction, but his sister, Seraphine, carries the light of hope deep within her-a light that both tempers and threatens to consume the darkness. Together, they are an unstoppable force, but they are also bound by the legacy of a twisted bloodline and the expectations of those who raised them. As the two prepare to leave the fortress of their childhood and conquer the outside world, they are tasked with ensuring the continuation of their bloodline-a task that will seal their fates. Torn between loyalty to the only family they've ever known and the desire to break free from the chains of their past, Zarek and Seraphine must decide if they will be the architects of destruction or the saviours of their destiny. The world is on the edge of chaos, and their decision will shape the future of magic, light, and darkness. In Children of Shadow and Light, loyalty, power, and family collide in an epic battle for control-where even the strongest bonds can be broken and the most dangerous enemies may lie within.

Galadriel has seen more war in five years than most would experience in a lifetime. She and her brother, Finrod, commanded the Great War's most elite death squad: the Loriens. Together they completed untold thousands of missions, destroying some of the Enemy's most valuable strongholds and weapons. In the last crucial battle of the War, Finrod was killed by Sauron, an Enemy lieutenant of reputed cruelty on and off the battlefield. Morgoth was killed in the same battle, and the Loriens were sent home. Galadriel and her commandos were expected to re-assimilate with the civilian population. Galadriel has struggled to adapt for months; but with her brother gone and so many of the Enemy soldiers, including Sauron, at large, how can she put down the weapons that have kept her safe for so long? Halbrand finally makes his way north to take refuge in the great city of Lindon, where a chance encounter with a half-elf lord puts him directly into the path of Galadriel. He's done fighting. It's time to atone for his misdeeds. If his identity is exposed, can he make the person who matters most to him understand? The two journey to the Southlands, where an orc father is pursuing a secret of his own. What is Adar hunting? That's a lot of very dramatic questions for a single description. All that cinematic fluff aside, I hope you'll take a look at my original fiction piece, as it has cost me many brain cells and many hours of sleep. #2 in haladriel #11 in ringsofpower trying to get in the top 100 of the lordoftherings tag but I keep topping out really close to 100...one day...
