Escher Von Preshlow

The 'Misty Four', a group of adventurers find themselves in Castle Ravenloft, dining with the devil himself. And much to their surprise, The Vampire Lord Strahd introduces to them his courtesans. One of whom, seems to be particularly fascinatingly... not what he first appears to be.

This is a written fic by the Dungeon Master of a CoS game, detailing many scenes preciously unseen by the D&D party that explain much of our version of Escher's history, motives, and thought processes. The overarching story was part of a collaborative creating process in-game, and the characters and setting are all loosely based upon and inspired by The Curse of Strahd 5e Campaign by Wizards of the Coast.

Content Warning: Whilst I wouldn't call anything here horrifically explicit, Strahd is... a huge creep and *not* a good person, nor dreamy villain. He takes joy in causing physical and mental harm, as well as believing he is deserving of romantic favors. Same goes for Anastrasya, who, despite Escher's attraction to men exclusively, chooses to make advances on him regardless. There's also a lot of blood and descriptions of nasty injuries.
