Following Dracaena Hoctina's eventful fifth year as a new student with extraordinary powers, both she and her best friend, Ominis Gaunt, enjoyed a relatively peaceful sixth year at Hogwarts. Now, as their seventh and final year approaches, they hope for another untroubled school year. However, Dracaena still feels no small level of guilt over her decision to turn Sebastian in to the Ministry. Both of them still miss Sebastian terribly, and wonder if things could have been different if they had made different choices. On the Hogwarts Express, winging their way towards the castle once more, Dracaena and Ominis are interrupted in their compartment by a strange, yet wonderfully familiar figure standing in the doorway.
