Balwinder heard a thud and felt a spray of warm blood on his face. As he looked up, his face shuddered with horror to see Karamjeet fall on the snow. He saw that the top part of his head was blown off, and the grey matter was oozing out of the remaining portion of his head. Somebody had shot Karamjeet, and the bullet had pierced his head from behind and exited from the forehead, splattering blood all around. A bloodstream was flowing from his head onto the snow.

Who was Karamjeet and who killed him and why?

A silent drone flew over the valley, and a display console inside the makeshift operations room showed the live stream of images. Sitting in front of the console, Rajbir could see the view of the enemy post across the valley. The drones had been operating since the first light, and a trained analyst was analysing its footage, but finding a camouflaged sniper with a drone camera was a long shot that they had decided to take. He had deployed three sniper teams comprising a sniper and a buddy from his team in the dark of the night. All the units were equipped with secured wireless voice-activated radios. There was no report from them either.

Why was such a deployment done by Major Rajbir? What happened in this operation? Did they succeed or fail?

and hope to die... Meerab Arsalan had it all. The warm, healthy childhood, perfect teeth, stellar education, the best friends a girl could ask for, enough money to live a comfortable life & still have some left over every month for the Net-A-Porter hauls, & most importantly, the drop dead gorgeous, sinfully charismatic soulmate who was as amazing on the inside as he looked on the outside. Until she was faced with the daunting realisation that he wasn't all roses, warm honey & Victoria Sponge cake on the inside as she'd thought him to be... Delta Force operative Murtasim would've sooner made himself sniper target practice at the Fort Bragg HQ base than entertained the thought of a 'girl next door' variety female stumbling into his life (and his mission), wrapping him around her tiny, adorably plump pinky, & getting him to the alter all within a few months of knowing her And yet here he was, still alive & being dragged around Charlotte, North Carolina for cake tastings & tuxedo fittings by the said 'girl next door' variety female. And to say he loved it would be an overstatement, but to say he adored the living daylights out of her wouldn't be. Until someone decided they wanted to take the one thing he adored in the big bad world away from him. Pasts resurfaced, monsters roared all around, and worse, the ones inside him were unleashed until he wasn't just fighting for her, but fighting her to make sure they somehow made it back to the pretty picket fence, porch swing, & breakfasts in bed life they'd dreamed of. 𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐇 𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐗 𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐇 Choose," Vikram's voice echoed, cold and unforgiving. "Your company or your wife." His fingers trembled around the cold steel of the gun. Ansh had always been a man of logic, a strategist who calculated risks and gains. But now, faced with this impossible choice, his heart waged war against his mind. The company-the empire he had built from sweat and sacrifice-exited like a mountain before him. It represented power, wealth, and influence. Kanika-she was his heart, the reason he breathed. Ansh's eyes held resignation. He had made his choice-the one that would haunt him forever. He stepped closer, the gun's muzzle against Kanika's temple. "Betrayer never stands a place in our lives " he whispered . . . . . . "I love you," she whispered, but love was no match for the weight of his decision. The gunshot tore through her, not just physically but emotionally. Ansh had shattered her trust, leaving her broken and bleeding. The gunshot echoed through the room, shattering not just Kanika's trust but also their love. Ansh had chosen his company, and in that choice, he had betrayed her. Kanika wondered if love could survive such brutality. Or if, in the end, it was all just an illusion-a mirage in a desert of broken promises. Love or betrayal? Consumption of betrayals. Internal betrayal? Yes! Will they be overcome? Or Will it overcome them??? Buckle up your seats to witness their internal betrayals.

"I'm so sorry," she said, but there was no fear in her voice. "I wasn't looking where I was going." I clenched my jaw. "You should have been." To my surprise, she didn't back down. "Well, maybe you should watch where you're going, too. It's not like I did this on purpose." I stopped, stunned. "Do you have any idea who you're speaking to?" Her eyes didn't flinch. "Yes, I do. And I don't care. I'm not going to stand here while you blame me." I was taken aback. Most people would've cowered, but she didn't. "Next time, be more careful," I said, colder now. "I will," she replied, "And maybe don't judge so quickly." ***** Zahra is a kind, fierce, and hardworking woman who is deeply dedicated to her religion. As a hijabi, she maintains a strong sense of faith and self-respect, and her unwavering determination to do right by her values makes her both compassionate and savage when necessary. Rashid Khan, on the other hand, is a notorious mafia boss feared across all of Asia. Cold, calculating, and intimidating, he's used to being in control, and his ruthless demeanor keeps everyone around him in check. When they are arranged to marry, their worlds collide. Zahra's fiery independence and strong beliefs challenge Rashid's dominance and cold control. Neither is willing to back down, creating a tension-filled dynamic. Will Zahra's strength break through Rashid's hardened exterior, or will their clash of wills tear them apart? Anyone can read it! Please note: This book includes mature themes, including depictions of violence and the use of explicit language.

The great war in between the two of the greatest kingdoms occurred. The Cholas and the Rajputs. She was the captive and he was the captivator. She was the princess who was committed to someone else, tied by the strong thread of marriage. She was cheated by the brother she thought of as her world and was disowned by the same husband whom she loved and trusted blindly. When the whole world went against her, only he stood by, despite not knowing who she was. ___________________________ " War destroys the landscape in which it is fought; it erodes the natural solidarity between human beings, turning people who might be friends into mortal enemies; and it robs the soldiers who fight of their capacity to speak truth to power-to resist the wars in which they give their lives. What's more, the trauma of war lingers even after the battle is over. People like you who fought this war in the name of justice robbing my brother of his life, decapitating his head from his body, trusting such a dehumanised and monstrous person, and talking to him, NEVER! You are just a violent animal who uses his sword instead of his claws to kill, if the difference is laid out. Please, just get lost from my sight, I don't even want to see your face.." She said, This was the first time she had lost her cool, and it greatly satisfied me, that even if she shouted and called me names, at least she threw out the building tension and indignation at me. I just smiled at her. ___________________________ Adiraj dev Rajput, the one addressed as the Kunwarsa. The Charakraj [THE KING OF THE SPIES] and the Vitt mantri [FINANCE MINISTER] of Jodhpur, who has hidden a lot in him. Can he get her to trust him? When he was the one who destroyed her life, can he also be the one to tape together the shattered pieces? READ SAUNDARYA ~ THE EPITOME OF SACRIFICE Follow me on instagram: watt.sorayairha
