Tales From The Facility is the first installment to the Combat Tales series & part of the lore of the Vector Research Universe [Rendition 2].

The year is 2027, going into the deep arctic, houses the largest research facility of the North, technology has become advanced enough for scientific breakthroughs to happen (but also finding out what is the perfect bread to put on a sandwich).
After some time of working in the research facility, he gets called in for someone, but not long before also meeting his colleagues (also his friends) within the East Sector of the facility, but also encountering his long awaited crush, but that all changed when a sudden attack struck the facility by a rival corporation who wants control.
Will him and his buddies be able to live long enough to get out of the facility safely? Or will they meet their demise from a wrong turn? Journey along as to what will they encounter on their journey to their escape.

-All lore is largely original, major inspirations from Call of Duty, Half Life (And the Black Mesa remake), Goldeneye (and the video game counterpart), SCP Foundation, ULTRAKILL, and a whole lot.. but also rooted away from the original TCC universe by a team.

The rewrite for this book is out. It features way better writing than this one, trust me. 2024: The American military suspects World War III due to missile attacks from Russia all across Australia, Europe, and Canada. In an effort to aid the American military, scientists at Area-51 created animals with human characteristics, incredible speed, strength, agility, ect. They even have sentience. The humans dubbed these creatures 'Anthros'. No human could beat one in hand-to-hand combat. Not even the best person at close quarters combat. 2025: Two things would change the fate of the world as we know it. Those being that missile attacks were becoming more and more frequent. And the anthros were starting to rebel. Thus, starting the war. The anthros turned on their own squads, wiping almost all military members out. The anthros formed a military, with one goal. Extinguish humanity and take over earth. The last remaining humans in the military are fighting against anthros for their survival. Earth is practically hell at this point if you live on it. The human military in other continents has either been taken out by anthros, or the Russians. The Human Canadian Military moves down to the United States in an attempt to aid them, and to end this war once and for all. But one human soldier stands out from the rest after taking an experimental item... After this soldier is betrayed and lost, with no other option, joins the anthro military in an attempt to get his hands on the person who betrayed him. He'll do anything and kill anyone in his way to get to them and end this war. Even his own species. This soldier's name is Falcon. He suspects that it won't be much longer before he'll be betrayed again. But hey, that's just a theory. This book contains excessive swearing, detailed death/injury, and yeah that's pretty much it. This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Now he have to survive this warrior world that seeks to use him or destroy him, but under his meek facade is something much more then any one could imagine. Hope you enjoy.
