How do you start to write a story about yourself and your life? Where do you begin and how do you end if you are not even close to being finished with living? I don't have the answers to any of those questions except where I am going to start. It's a long and emotional journey but here I am, going to relive it to write this story.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here.
