A brave warrior named Shez once came to earth with a child to protect. He trapped as many dragons as he could at the DragonSpine Mountains. But he couldn't trap them all.

Thus, Dragons walk among us, hidden in plain sight. These shapeshifters, cloaked in human form, have become a terrifying myth whispered in the shadows. The Drayers, a clandestine organization, are humanity's silent guardians, wielding a power strong enough to pierce the dragon's disguise and bring them down.

Diato, a fresh recruit, has finally earned his place among these dragon hunters. But on his first mission, everything goes wrong. Thrust into a high-stakes operation meant for seasoned veterans, the line between hunter and hunted blurs dramatically.

In a world where secrets ignite and loyalties burn, Diato's journey of self-discovery will force him to confront a chilling truth. Is everything he believes about dragons a lie? Can he survive in a world where fire rages not just from the dragons' breath, but also from within?

They hidden it from each other making the Number One Hero to forget about his family by the lavatory and took the four away making him to be pissed as this is not fair to them at all. He allows his twin children to be Heroes, but they must keep their dragon genes hidden. How will the world handle this or will the family be back together and will the Number One Hero remember about his family? Find out in the story as this story goes all-over the place and many things aren't going to make sense to humans no matter what. Warning: blood and gore, some over detailing explained and human turned dragon aspect. Short summary: Basically; some scientists kidnapped a small family of dragons. What they thought they had, was three whelps (baby/juvenile dragons) and an adult male. They were wrong :). And the adult female turned out to be the whelps' mother. 150 years in the future little exists of humanity but what they left behind; a war-torn world. Those left that survived fractured into two groups, the Cabal and the Renegade. One fights for order, the other for freedom. Neither remembers how, or when, the fighting started but both realize that it will end with their own extinction... Until one day a crazy man's ideas are realized and materialized into something that could change the war forever. Jaya has suffered from this war-torn world like many others. Orphaned at a young age, she has known the bottom of the tier her whole life and her whole life she has dreamed only of the top. Of the Dragon Warriors. Made of fire and rage, the Dragon Warriors are the greatest weapon ever created. The ability to become a vicious beast with wings, claws and bulletproof scales made them the new hope for winning the war against the Cabal. At least they used to be thought of as that. Nowadays the people see them as the fodder that wastes their food and fills their graves. Inside Jaya is a deep-seated rage to get back at the ones who took everything away from her in the war but her shy outward personality stops her from doing anything but daydream. Jaya must fight against not only the people around her, but also herself in order to achieve that which she desires most: Revenge. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Each part is 1k words. Content Warning: Blood, gore & death in later chapters. There is NO romance in this story.

In a small village, half hidden along a mountainside, Kieren was slinking between shadows. Footsteps sure even with so little moonlight. The softest brush of bare skin against knobbled and far-reaching trees. Not even a whisper of sound from stepping on the coarse dirt beneath his feet. In this world, Drakes were the epitome of power amongst the species. Only making up 10% of the population, humans making up the other 90%. Drakes could be found in the highest positions of power in communities or in positions to protect others (such as guards, watchmen, knights, patrolman). No one questioned this, dragons taking care of their own. A private species with traditions and rules that only dragons were privy to. Making sure none over-reached so that there would always be peace and harmony amongst the dragon territories and between humans. A symbiosis that all worked hard to maintain. Humans were born with vibrant and colorful hair throughout the world. The more rare the color, the more blessings, respect, luck and riches came to them. Fiery red, leafy green, aqua blue. Eyes that matched their brightest feature. Dressing in the same colors or even brighter shades to demonstrate their extravagance, their standing in society. They normally worked side by side with the higher ranking dragons, helping to keep harmony. All Kieren knew was that he would have to remain cloaked, face obscured at all times. The villagers said he was a defect, so they made him their servant. His skin too pale. Form too slight. Eyes not right. An ugly thing where he should be thankful they did not kill him right away. To be grateful for their pity and staying their hand. The worst, they would tell him, was about the coloring of his features; his hair and eyes. It was a color that had never been seen before amongst humans or dragons. *Please read tags! Don't like, don't read, don't leave unhelpful nasty comments.
