This is part two of my fan fiction series titled, "The Phantom Thieves of Hearts," which is a reformatted version of a screenplay that I wrote a couple of years ago.  This part focuses on the newly formed, Phantom Thieves, changing the heart of another cruel adult, who's a famous painter named, Ichiryusai Madarame, while trying to rescue the painter's pupil, Yusuke Kitagawa, from rumored abuse and mistreatment by this very painter.  "Persona 5," is a video game that means so much to me and has definitely changed my life for the better so I dedicate this series to all of the talented people working at Atlus and P-Studio for making such a life changing game.

The leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Joker, AKA, Ren Amamiya, is not in a good mood. It's been a year after the events that happened in Persona 5, and trouble has struck. Ren's parents have been arguing, and now they are getting a divorce. To find his own peace, Ren decides to return to Cafe Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya. But things seem to get worse, as he gets in arguments and finally decides to be a shut-in. The Phantom Thieves try to reach out to him, but nothing seems to be able to get to Ren. With a little bit of help, the group of teens manage to access the Metaverse that has reformed once again. And to their surprise, they discover a palace. A palace who the ruler is none other than Ren Amamiya himself. I don't own Persona 5 or any of its characters. Artwork displayed is not mine unless otherwise stated. (In this A.U, the events of Persona 5 Strikers/Scramble never occured. This is because I started writing this before it was even released, and I don't want to go back and rewrite this whole story. Besides, then it would contain spoilers from the sequel, and I don't want problems with that.)

Meet Takuma Shirase, the delinquent transfer student in this new retelling of Persona 5. From new or familiar characters, to the new perspective that this protagonist takes on this woorld that he lives in, join his journey as he conquers Palace for Palace with his version of the Phantom Thieves. (P.S. Corny description, I know. I'll try to make the quality as good as possible, but of course for those who read my 70 chapters of Bleach: New Generation, you know its not guaranteed, haha. Makoto never thought her first relationship would begin with a broken nose and a trip to the ER, but when she mistakes the new transfer student as a stalker, things take a turn for the worse. To get her actual stalker off her back, she convinces Akira to be her fake boyfriend. What was supposed to be a one time thing eventually turns into more when her friend, Eiko, gets involved with him. Their differences will either bring them closer together or tear them apart as Makoto's naivety threatens to put her in danger in an unfamiliar world. ---------- A story that aims to find out how would the lives of the characters in Persona 5 would be different if there were no Personas and no Metaverse. After months of getting to know and love Futaba Sakura, knowing that she is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, it's all ripped away by one man. Takuto Maruki has decided that people cannot be allowed to think for themselves, and that they should never have to feel pain, well, unless you interfere with his plan. After being thoroughly trounced by the Phantom Thieves, Maruki makes one last ditch attempt to break the theives, and kills Futaba. In his blind rage, Akira Kurusu, otherwise known as Joker takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. This is a passion project that sprung to mind while driving, and now I'm hyperfixated... Welp, time to churn out a book. ENJOY READING IT!! Continuing with their school life for the ones still in it. The former 2nd year Phantom Thieves would finish their 3rd year and graduate becoming legal adults entering into college, that's until there are still more targets to have to change the hearts of.
